Hello and here we are at Perfectly Paranormal episode 114

My name is Anna Schmidt, and I'm here every week to share with you true paranormal encounters and information about devils, demons and dark energy beings that no one else talks about. Today, today you will hear a comprehensive guide to all the possible signs of energetic disturbances and paranormal attraction in buildings that I have gathered over 30+ years of observing the energy in homes and other places and what can cause these annoying and possibly frightening issues and experiences.

First, we will look at the WHAT… I have 10 points covering the human and geopathic stress connected to environmental causes disrupting the energetic vibration of buildings and locations attracting paranormal presence and this list is not in any particular order:

1.     Non-disclosure of suicides or violent deaths in homes leaves negative residual energy that I call trauma imprints. I knew there was something odd about the house I still live in 30 years on. There had been a suicide which was disclosed to me by a neighbour. Initially, I thought I was going nuts… I would feel a presence and see the outline of a man walking around the house during the day and night, sometimes following me, sometimes loitering in one particular room. We weren’t told of the death before purchasing the home. He isn’t here now, he has transitioned into the Light.

2.     Unsavoury behaviours such as drug labs, drug dealing, constant substance abuse or violence on the premises. This type of behaviour would indeed leave a detrimental imprint on the building and on the land.

3.     Occult or black magic practices in the buildings or on the property leave detrimental energy even after rituals are finished… the vibration is still present and disrupts the energetic flow in buildings and on the land. And sometimes portals or other interdimensional doorways are left open which is an open invitation for entities of all types to enter the premises.

4.     Building commercial or residential buildings on top of sacred sites or cemeteries are just asking for energetic trouble because of the nature of disturbing and disrupting burial places of all cultures. 
 EXAMPLE: There was a news report of a private school here in Tasmania being built over Queenborough cemetery and when renovations were being done and building extended nearly 2000 grave sites were found and exhumed. The cemetery dates from 1873. I wonder if some of the staff and students experienced strange occurrences in the school with a large number of spirits and probably other entities present on the land.

5.     Extreme environmental occurrences such as earthquakes, cyclones, tsunamis, fires, and other natural disasters disturb the energetic flow in the land, what we dowsers call the earth's energy lines. Also, the mental and emotional energy impact caused by the massive human emotional and trauma overload created by such severe happenings is absorbed into the land.

6.     Massacre sites where extreme trauma has soaked into the land and is still present (as well as the spirits roaming such sites) from the detrimental actions, can affect all future buildings built on the site. 

EXAMPLE: I have walked into small residential units or homes where massacres on the land that have occurred some 200+ years ago and heard the screaming, and fighting and saw pools of blood in my mind’s eye. The home occupants told me they both became sick after moving in and their lives really took a turn for the worst. I tried to research one local site, but here in Hobart massacre sites haven’t been documented (not that I could find online) but I trust my body feelings.

I conveyed the information to one lady whose home I entered – she looked sick with pasty grey skin and her husband was in the hospital, the home’s energy was very active. They moved out and she messaged me to say both their health improved… was their problem medical or energetic… could have been both.

7.     Lack of cleanliness – The presence of mould, lack of good ventilation in the home, smoker’s residue on the walls or in the air, sometimes the cleaning products used to clean homes can affect sensitive people’s physical bodies and cause adverse effects.

8.     Renovating homes can disrupt the energy in the home and if spirits are present from previous owners, depending on their personalities and emotional connection to the home, they can be annoyed by the changes to what they see as still their home. Often, they will make their displeasure known by stomping loudly in hallways, moving or breaking objects, following people in the home, looming over people in bed or elsewhere in the home the list goes on. This leads into no9

9.     The fabric of buildings, which means the structure such as the bricks, mortar, wood, windows, roofing and internal fittings can absorb energetic imprints from the land or inhabitants, creating an uncomfortable negative feeling in buildings. While living in the building, inhabitants may experience increasing detrimental symptoms with no medical explanation. I often talk to buildings as they are energetically sensitive vibrating structures, sometimes with a lot to say.

 Buildings built from repurposed wood, bricks, windows, doors etc can sometimes carry negative energy from one site to the next depending on the negative happenings in the previous building. I am all for repurposing and doing it myself but I always observe the land and home when I bring in a second hand item or items for a subtle energetic shift that may or may not be a problem.

When buildings are burnt out or demolished and all the rubble, structural bits and pieces are sometimes packed into a pit and covered over because it is too hard or costly to remove. Then months or years later new homes are built in those locations and some of the homes' occupants experience strange personal energetic disturbances as well as energetic upheaval in their homes.

EXAMPLE: A house healing client of mine read the report after I finished the clearing and intensely disputed the high level of alcoholism and violent behaviour energy I found on the land and had seeped into the home. This was the only home and she was the only owner and she didn’t drink. Well, on venting to one of the neighbours, she found out that her home had indeed been built on a burnt-out home previously owned by an abusive drunk… no more need be said on that one.

10.Furniture especially beds, couches or armchairs left behind by previous occupants can absorb emotional and trauma energy from the original owners and when used by the new homeowners, sensitive people can feel odd or different or sometimes experience the detrimental emotions stored in the furniture.

Now, it is time to look at the 13 common and not so commonly understood signs of energetic interference in places. The list is by no means ALL signs but the major one clients share with me or that I have experienced. And as always debunk, debunk and yes debunk … never assume the issue is energetic or paranormal until you rule out all rational explanations.

THE LIST 

1.     Issues with construction from scratch – usually plans getting lost, not being approved, tradespeople not showing up…the list goes on. EXAMPLE: I had a client in the UK who wanted to build on a beautiful piece of land out in the country. Nothing was going to plan for months leading into a year and out of frustration, he contacted me. Long story short – the site had druidic connections and had been used for sacred ceremonies in the centuries gone past. I spoke with the land energies as I call them, and they granted permission for the building to go ahead as they had observed the man and his plans for a meditation centre, cabin to live in, community type vegetable garden and I suggested a sacred garden with water feature to honour the land energies. No one had asked their permission so they put energetic blockages in place to block the whole construction process.

2.     Bad smells – the rotten egg, sulphuric gas, 3 week old road kill type smells… if your plumber can’t find an issue, you have looked under the house for dead rodents and it isn’t dead mice fallen and stuck in your wall cavities then it might be an energetic issue. EXAMPLE: I have experienced the distinct smell of dead rodents in wall cavities and I know the difference between that stench and paranormal stench. You have to experience it to understand it.

3.     Shadows or dark patches where there shouldn’t be or seeing dark movement in your peripheral vision. Paranormal LOVE to lurk where we think we can’t see them OR where we expect to see them. They see the movies we watch and know what triggers us, mere mortals, into fear, panic and paranoia and will deploy those methods to get what they want.

4.     Doors constantly open even though you have them deadlocked or doors or windows get stuck open and they won’t close. I have experienced this and after all the debunking, asked out loud respectfully for whoever was playing with the back door to please stop and the problem ceased.

5.     Hearing sounds or voices, odd creaking, scratches, knocking with no rational explanation – My kids used to say they heard someone walking in the hallway in the middle of the night around 2-3 am when we knew everyone was in bed. The knocking - I have experienced this on walls and windows and even in the space within rooms which was weird… like someone was knocking from a portal in another dimension.

6.     Wafting breezes and odd changes in temperature in certain rooms – This could be open windows, gaps in door or window frames etc. but if it isn’t debunkable then it might be an open portal in the location, spirits or dark entities moving about.

7.     Flickering lights, internet issues and electrical cutouts – can all be rationalised but if not a normal electrical issue, there might be an energetic cause. Dark paranormal LOVE messing with our electrics, they get a buzz from our emotional reactions.

8.     Feeling unwell in the mind and body but only in certain rooms in the home. This can be your body sensing the energetic presence of unseen intruders lurking in the room. They hide in locations feeding on the negative vibrations in certain parts of homes for example where there has been trauma or a large pool of emotional energy built up.

9.     Feeling watched – is this a mental health issue? … possibly but often is not. Our bodies sense what we perceive as danger and send warning signals to our brains. Our emotions respond depending on our level of sensitivity, awareness or interest. Some people just fob it all off with rational causes and that is 100% ok.

10. Nightmares – If the dream can’t be explained by stress with life circumstances, then there might be paranormal lurkers in the home or in your bedroom. 

11. Feeling panicky or flighty in the home topped off with fear and anxiety and you just can’t settle. You can do some research if you want to unpack rational causes of the issue – talk to long term neighbours, the real estate people, and council records, scour through old newspapers and see if there is a rational reason why you feel unsettled and this leads into no. 11…

12.Noticing the difference when you are out of the home… This is a biggy. Clients often express that when they are at work or at a friend’s house, they feel great but when they return home, their energy levels drop, their emotions change and they feel blah. A classic sign of paranormal presence in the home.

13.Pets – sudden changes in pet behaviours, if not medical may be a sign of paranormal presence in homes. I talked about this extensively in episode 24 of this podcast.

I trust the information shared today has raised your awareness about energetic disturbances in places and the attractants for paranormal entities and now you will observe the environment around you looking for rational and possibly no so rational explanations.
