Hello, and here we are at Perfectly Paranormal episode 135

My name is Anna Schmidt, and I'm here every week to share with you true paranormal encounters and information about devils, demons and dark energy beings that no one else talks about. Today, today you get an inside peek at detrimental viewing… what it is and how the energetically disruptive and disturbing behaviour can damage the energy of homes and the people who live in them. No one else I know in the energy world talks about this, so I am bringing it out in the open… NO HOLES BARRED… you will hear it all.

I thought we would start with my definition of detrimental viewing, so you know exactly what I mean by that terminology:

‘Detrimental viewing is the consistent viewing of lower vibrational materials such as extremely violent or graphic horror movies, high-level violent video games, or disturbing pornographic content.’

 Those activities can attract lower vibrational beings to people or the places where they are viewed due to the harmful energetic vibrational imprints produced by the activities and the negative impact on the viewer’s mental and emotional health, and the locations where they are viewed. And no matter how much the walls, floor and furniture are cleaned, the negative vibrations stay put until energetically identified and removed.

 In April this year, I added another element to ‘detrimental viewing’ as you will hear in the following client experience, after what I thought was the standard detrimental viewing activity, which turned out to be something else.

I called this experience: Detrimental damage of the devious kind

 In May 2025, Angie contacted me for an apartment clearing and during the energetic clearing of her home, I came across a massive pool of negative energy, identified as ‘detrimental viewing’ energy in one of the bedrooms. There was a specific corner of the room that was vibing out not very nice energy, and whoever slept in that room would most likely experience sleep disturbances and possibly mental and emotional issues that they couldn’t explain. So, I noted down the details for Angie’s home clearing report as – Detrimental viewing of ‘Inappropriate graphic content’ was the wording that came to mind, and I cleared all detrimental viewing energy from the corner and the whole room, checking it multiple times over the 2 days it took to finalise the apartment clearing.

 Now, when I spoke to Angie, she had some amazing news… the person who slept in that room had a marvellous change in the dynamics of her life. She had left a very negative relationship she felt trapped in, and couldn’t find her way out of. Guess where her computer was located in that room… yep, the specific corner I had indicated on the floor plan and in the report. The negative, toxic online relationship between the female and her partner was filling the space with masses of negative energy, which really impacted her life and reading this in the report helped her to finally cut all ties with that negative person. So, I will be adding ‘toxic online relationships’ to my list of detrimental viewing from now on.

Detrimental viewing can pop up in all sorts of places, such as in a workplace where I did a recent energy clearing. There were suspect cubicles where workers were watching inappropriate content that they thought no one saw… but the building and the furniture in that cubicle absorb the negative energy, and if other workers in the office are energy sensitive, the vibes pumping out of the cubicle can affect their energy and probably their work productivity.

Also, another home and  this was a disgusting, energetic clean up, and the man living there needed mental health care for the very explicit pornographic content he was watching. I never judge people, but the home shows it all. He initially denied the viewing, but in the end, admitted to sexual abuse he experienced as a child, which fueled his tormented viewing. I strongly suggested he seek sexual abuse and mental health counselling, and I hope he did so, so he could be free of past trauma in his life.
