We are constantly being tempted by darkness in oh so many ways, and the light offers positive opportunities ... where do you sit? In this episode, you hear my take on Universal balance – the fight between good and evil, light and dark and where we mere humans fit into it all. Most people might be surprised to hear that we live in a battle ground every day of our lives, we are born into it, some blissfully unaware of the constant temptation and pressure we are under. It is like we are being pulled to and fro by our thoughts, words, actions and reactions and the people and temptations around us every day.

Hello, and here we are at Perfectly Paranormal episode 138

My name is Anna Schmidt, and I'm here every week to share with you true paranormal encounters and information about devils, demons and dark energy beings that no one else talks about. Today, today, you hear my take on Universal balance – the fight between good and evil, light and dark and where we mere humans fit into it all. Most people might be surprised to hear that we live in a battle ground every day of our lives, we are born into it, some blissfully unaware of the constant temptation and pressure we are under. It is like we are being pulled to and fro by our thoughts, words, actions and reactions and the people and temptations around us every day.

When you wake up spiritually, and I don’t mean the fluffy bunny, angels and rainbows wakeup call, but the realisation that the Devil and God are on either side of the Earth battlefield watching our everyday choices, successes and failures… watching and waiting to see how we react or don’t react. It really does blow your mind, and you start to go down the rabbit hole… as I did and always do… nothing is EVER simple… and just to shake up Universal balance, I added another aspect.

I look at the battle field with three, yes, three sides, which again some people might find a little challenging. On the left, we have the Devil and his henchmen roaming the worl,d constantly tempting us and feeding off our negativity and traumas. On the right we have God and the angelic realm, encouraging us and supporting our choices, ups and downs and picking us up when we make mistakes and then squeezed in the middle mingling amongst us mere humans just trying to survive daily life, we have the sorcery and dark magic practitioners sending out harm to others for their own self satisfying needs, and some even get paid to do the damage.

So, how to unpack it all? To get started, I thought we could break it all up into the 4 parts for easier unravelling and practical understanding:

Let’s start with the dark forces and their agenda

The nature of demons is interesting. We know they are dark and mysterious, feeding on our tormented minds, dramas, traumas, and negative reactions… doom and gloom, but they are on a tethered leash… a leash connecting them to a higher power, God. They became demons after being fallen angels, so therefore still tied to Higher Powers and must behave accordingly, and I wondered, ‘Are demons part of the greater plan, used as a tool to make us wake up or to teach us spiritually to step into our power? ‘ And yes, I have touched on this in other episodes, but today is the deep dive. 

As you know, I have somewhat open opinions about these mischievous entities who loiter in the Earth's reality. I observe them through my work and my own experiences and find that they value respect. It is like a universal law - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’. Some call it the golden rule, and I tested it in the early days of being an energy worker and found I received a fair response from spirits and darker beings.

When I enter homes as a professional energy worker to cleanse the negative vibrations that have attracted entities, they can’t touch me because I am there with the permission of the owner. However, I have seen people get hurt, mentally and emotionally, when they meddle in places they shouldn’t, and the entities present make the person’s life merry hell for interfering in what the entities see as theirs.

A dear friend of mine, Lesley Bonga, a religious demonologist and exorcist, uses the terminology ‘God’s legal authority’. Lesley is a lawyer for Christ and serves notice to demons to leave people and places in God’s name, and they must obey. Lesley understands the legal nature of demons and what they can do, and how they are always looking for chinks in your armour to get to you. She uses the terminology, ‘We live in the Devil’s playground’, and when you think about it, that is exactly what it is. We are watched and observed all the time for our responses and decisions… are we learning and growing or going backwards into darkness?

Now, let’s look at love and light and where we all sit with that

God has a plan… You will hear people say, depending on your religious or spiritual beliefs. Our powerful supporters in the higher realms look out for our best interests, presenting opportunities for growth, even though sometimes the experiences don’t feel like that. When we fall, they pick us up and offer more opportunities for growth. They want us to succeed and be the best we can be in each lifetime as this energy vibes out and fills other people and our surroundings with positivity enhancing overall well-being. The Devil’s job is to keep us mentally and emotionally low and miserable to put it bluntly and the tug of war ensues and where we sit depends on our egos, our wants from life and how we go about getting those wants and desires… do we work hard for them or take the Devil’s shortcuts – lie, cheat, steal, even kill.  

This leads into us mere humans… spiritual beings having a human experience, and boy, what an experience it is. 

We have free will… and everything boils down to free will, intention, morals, ethics and choice. I will use myself and my podcast as an example. To be popular, you must be trending… fit into the trending scheme of things and with the paranormal… It's trending if it’s scary, frightening, and constantly creates fear, paranoia, panic and anxiety for viewers and listeners. Hosts of shows want more views, likes and subscribers above all else and will give people what they want to get it. I have morals and strong ethics… basically, I give honest information with real, relatable experiences to educate people about awareness of the paranormal… ‘Observe without fear” is my motto, and that doesn’t feed the paranormal drama people want, so my view and listeners' numbers are low. 

Fear and all its cousins feed the Devil. I want people to calmly observe themselves, others, their homes, and if the issue isn’t medical, or mental health for people or a debunkable happening in a home or other place, then it must have an energetic cause and time to get help.

Our last and oh, so interesting part of universal balance is the dark magic practitioners tipping the scales in their favour… where do they fit into universal balance?

I have experienced magic attack for nearly 4 years before I crafted full energetic protection that is keeping me alive and safe, so I have seen a darker side to humanity. You would be surprised what goes on in the underbelly of society. Magic and occult practitioners try to corrupt universal balance in their favour, through their desires, practices and outcomes. God and the Devil are aware of their practices and the chaos they cause disrupts or even possibly contributes to both sides of the scales... harming others, causing pain, but also bringing out the warrior in others, such as myself, fighting for the side of good. Eventually, though, they succumb to their magic darkness as it seeps into their veins and karma bites.

We all have choice within the Universal balance, and we either feed or deny the balance, boosting our personal growth or sinking into dark oblivion… where do you sit within the balance? Feeding the Devil’s never-ending desires or lighting your beacon to shine the way to living in the brightest way you can?

So, in episode I39, you will hear about kids and dark entities, the psychically open children who tell you they see spirits and dark shapes wafting about around them, in their dreams or lurking in their bedrooms. How do you safely and gently explain the paranormal to kids younger than 8, who are scared out of their wits and help them find ways to cope?
