Hello, and here we are at Perfectly Paranormal episode 143

My name is Anna Schmidt, and I'm here every week to share with you true paranormal encounters and information about devils, demons and dark energy beings that no one else talks about. Today, today, you will hear why spirits and ghosts have to be scary.  And I am going to share some of the sweetest voice recordings I have heard through my spirit box, and then you can make up your mind if ghosts are scary or not.

 I will say that people keep their personalities when they leave their bodies. Their soul energy contains the personality, and if they were sneaky, sly, nasty or grumpy people in life, then they can be the same in spirit form; that said… If they were loving in life, then they are the same in death. If people die suddenly, say at home, or they were particularly connected and protective of their home, then they can be confused and quite active in letting you know they are there.

 Do you think spirits or ghosts are scary? Be honest, most people do, and why do you think that is? 

Before we listen to the voices, I have outlined 4 reasons that I have observed why people fear spirits, ghosts, or anything unknown or unseen:

 1.     Our brains and bodies mainly sense environmental factors through the 5 senses, but whet the 6th sense or the clair senses are awakened, our spiritual or psychic self can see, hear, feel, know, smell or taste energy in the environment which can send people’s rational brains into a spin and it is easier to deny the existence of the spirit world that deal with it. People like to think they are in control, and the paranormal world challenges that sense of control – personally and in the home.

2.     Culturally, or those from a strong religious background, are again trained to fear the unknown. This is a control mechanism in my view. People are trained from an early age to fear anything they don’t understand when it comes to the unseen paranormal world in all areas of society – traditions, superstitions, the church, school … the list goes on. Rightly so in some instances, such as, well, maybe not ‘fear’, but have a respectful awareness of the darker entities.

3.     Social media portrays the paranormal in dramatic, fearful, adrenaline-pumping ways for views, ratings, subscribers, and followers, when most of the time the spirit presence in places is because they are stuck and need help or don’t even know they have died. I have talked about this in depth in episode 59.

4.     Lastly, some people just like drama… we all know people like that. They love anything to moan, complain or cry about for attention. I am not being harsh, but truthful. 

 So, let’s get to hearing some of the voices I have recorded recently through my spirit box, which is a small radio that earthbound spirits can speak through, specifically the white noise. I run my spirit box in reverse and at a rate of I50 or 200 milliseconds, so the words I hear can’t possibly be from the radio stations. And anyway, if the answers match the questions asked, they can’t be random radio voices. 

These voices are from a local Tasmanian location, a now hotel which was originally a nurses home and rehabilitation centre for mentally ill residents of a local asylum. You will hear voices, some loud and some soft. I have done my best to make them clear for you, so lets hear what they have to say:

 There we go. I've changed the speed rate to 200.SPIRIT SAYS: HI Ah. Hello. That's better. Are you here to use the pool today? SPIRIT SAYS: I’M NOT HAPPY  It's nice to meet you.

 I'm sorry, I'm not nursing staff. Oh, hello. That's a strong voice. I'm gonna go into the cafeteria after. Do you wanna come and have some lunch with me? SPIRIT SAYS: We did. 

Is there anyone in the pool at the moment doing exercises? SPIRIT SAYS: Don't want TOO. Ooh, you don't want to. You don't have to go in the pool. I'm not telling you what to do.

I'm simply asking a question. I hope it's okay to be here. SPIRIT SAYS: Join me.

No, it doesn't look like there's anyone here playing basketball. You don't always find spirits in every location you go to.Hello? What if I kick the ball and you can go and chase it? What do you reckon? Yeah. Let me get this soccer ball ready for a big boot? You ready? 1, 2, 3.

SPIRIT SAYS : 4

How about I kick the ball again? What do you reckon? SPIRIT SAYS: I’ll beat ya

Hello? Sounds like a young male. 

SPIRIT SAYS: Quickly. You telling me to walk quickly? You're so funny.

Spirits have different strengths, too, when it comes to speaking through paranormal investigation devices, so I included the clearest voices I have recorded. The replies are simple, often one or sometimes 3 words at a time. I imagine it takes quite a lot of energy to speak through physical tangible devices, so spirits tend to choose the most relevant word to convey their message. Also, if I were to give it a number, 50% of spirits I have come across don’t like the noise of the spirit box as it sweeps through the channels. This is interesting too… spirit staff still present in their old working facilities, like hospitals and asylums, don’t like the noise level because those locations need to be quieter for the residents. But at the old nurse’s home in Queenstown, the spirit staff, nurses, patients, and children spirits love the spirit box and say hello or share something about themselves. 

I met a male convict spirit when I was a paranormal tour guide, who loved communicating through the spirit box. He would always start with ‘Hey’. You will love this, I never forgot this voice… a grumpy woman spirit who shocked me one day when I turned on my spirit box with the intention to see if Adam was up for a chat, when she said “He’s working”. Then there was another lovely male spirit at a convict cemetery who sang his name – ‘Richard’, that was so beautiful to hear. It is a shame; I didn’t keep those conversations from years ago, as I didn’t think I would need them. My OCD keeps me tidying and deleting and not keeping things that I could possibly need in the future.

So, how do you feel about spirits now? Still scared, creeped out, or do they seem more normal, just like us? I do love a good spirit conversation, and the spirit box gives them a voice to be heard again by the living. As we finish for today, I will say use your discernment when talking with any unseen spirit because other darker entities can pretend or disguise themselves as something innocent, as I shared back in the whole episode 42. In that episode, you get to know the differences and trust your gut and discernment once you understand what to look out for. Also, episode 5I, where I discussed spirits following you home and what types of boundaries you need to have in place to stop this.

So, next week in episode I44, you will enter the fascinating world of about Jinn and demons, the differences, similarities and their behaviours and tactics towards us. Also, I was confused at first when a religious demonologist explained the natures and differences between these two types of beings. It got me wondering, what have I been clearing from homes and other places all these years – Jinn or demonic or both?
