Hello, and here we are at Perfectly Paranormal episode 146

My name is Anna Schmidt, and I'm here every week to share with you true paranormal encounters and information about devils, demons and dark energy beings that no one else talks about. Today, today, you will get the ins and outs on spiritual warfare and the armour you need to survive demonic attack. Spiritual armour comes in all forms, and I will be sharing what I use and how it can work for you, too. 

Spiritual warfare is a constant in our environment, daily, every day we are being pulled to and fro mentally, emotionally and sometimes physically, the challenges, temptations, to cheat, lie, steal and worse and our conscience pulling us into line, hopefully to avoid the Devil’s temptations in all their forms… sounds ominous doesn’t it, well it is. .We touched on spiritual warfare back in episode I38, where we looked at Universal balance and battlefield Earth. Check out that episode for the full story.

Today, we are looking at the many forms of spiritual armour you can wear to thwart the Devil and his henchmen and their temptations. Now, I am going to be upfront as always, no beating around the bush or love and light fluffy language, just real, truthful ways you can armour up.

Now, where to start… It took me a while to compile this list, and I didn’t want to miss anything out. We are going to unpack different types of spiritual armour because we are all different, and different people will need different tools for their best kitted up armour.

And these are in no specific order as we look at non-religious armours and also the 7 pieces of the Christian armour mentioned in the Bible… let’s start with the non-religious armour first:

1.     Armour can be physical items you wear items charged with spiritually protective energy, such as the hasma, amulets. I have a friend who swears by using mirrors as a protective shield, or you can arm yourself with words or use them all. 

2.     I purely use carefully crafted words into what I call statements or you could call them prayers, but I don’t call them commands as I see it a disrespectful to command our spiritual helpers. The statements are written with present tense positive language and focused intent that can create strong protection, and believe me, they carry a powerful punch. A strong vibration that can create an armoured energy barrier around you until you depart this lifetime. I will say it takes practice to write your own protection statements, and a thesaurus is a great benefit to find just the right words that you need.

3.     Awareness of your mental and emotional triggers, whether people, situations, experiences or places or items. Letting yourself be triggered lets the Devil’s henchmen get closer to you. Being non-reactive and neutral fizzes out situations and benefits you and others around you. It can be hard to always focus on the positive or benefits or the best thing to do… it takes practice, but your mind, body and soul will benefit greatly if you can master awareness, observation and discernment.

4.     Following your religious practice, if you have one or choose to. The Devil recoils at religion and wants us to steer away from God, Buddha, Mohammad, whoever you follow and believe in. Follow your religious practices that make you feel loved and protected and enhance your faith.

Which leads into the Christian armour of God that I learnt about recently. There are 6 parts to the full armour, and I will describe them as best as I can. I got a bit cheeky and looked online, asking if only Christians could use this armour, and the resounding answer was - yes. BUT God in all his or her divine energetic forms wouldn’t reject anyone who asks for help, so I think anyone wanting to apply the principles of the spiritual armour could craft their own. Here are the basics in no particular order to get you started:

Each of the parts represents a particular spiritual virtue, ethic or truth that you can use with focused intention to thwart dark energy attackers:

1.  The sword; To me, this is the most important defensive weapon: This is where the words, statements or prayers come in that I mentioned earlier. Intentional wording said out loud with focused intention, and you can use visualisation if you wish. I find visuals distract me, so I stick to focusing on the vibration and intensity of the words, and I usually say my statements 3 times to cement them into place.
2. A solid breastplate: The breastplate covers all your vital organs, your heart, which governs your pure intention, and I see it as the centre of your morals, ethics and intuition guiding you to live the best, most beneficial life you can. 
3. A shiny shield of trust and faith to defend and bounce off all psychic attacks from people, yes, they can do that and block and disperse all dark energy attacks. 
4. A hard helmet to protect the mind, your focus, and enhance your clear thinking and intuitive connection to higher vibrational helpers.
5. A belt of truth which helps you keep it all together and pulled in nice and tight, reminding you to be moral, and honest with integrity as best you can. We all fall into the lying or angry, hateful hole every now and again, BUT you pull yourself out and get back on track. 
6. Your feet fitted with comfortable shoes for walking the path with all of the above protections and ethics for your most beneficial life, and you can share your message with others, if you choose.

HOW OFTEN TO PUT ON THE ARMOUR

You can imagine putting on the armour every day with visualisation, or you can activate it all once and monitor your thoughts, words, actions and reactions and adjust the armour as needed, such as you might need to tighten the belt if you feel yourself tempted to lie or cheat in a situation or to a person.
 Christians may argue that you can’t use the armour of God, but as I see it, we all come from one mass consciousness, God, if you want to call it that, and we have access to whichever methods of spiritual help we choose to access and utilise to live the best life we can.

 So, in episode I47, you will get a spooky look at  - Is there real evidence that ghosts exist? The REAL part is up for personal interpretation, and not everyone is going to be I00% convinced, and that is ok because sceptics keep it real and grounded, if a sceptic would use that word. And I will share my experiences that could have been nothing else, other than spirit presence.
