Hello, and here we are at Perfectly Paranormal episode 160

My name is Anna Schmidt, and I'm here every week to share with you true paranormal encounters and information about devils, demons and dark energy beings that no one else talks about. Today, today, a listener shared a rather brutal rant via email saying that I work for the Devil and God will smite me and my psychic abilities ( and that wasn’t the exact word the person used), so today we are exploring the truth about ‘Are psychic gifts evil or God given?

There is a famous person who I won’t name … but this person for decades was the centre of all things new age – a writer,  giving psychic readings, professed of visions of angels and had many, many, books and decks of oracle cards printed to sell to the public and then there was a sudden quite drastic change that shocked the world when this person outwardly pronounced that all psychic abilities come from the Devil and those who use them are supporting darkness in the world… they may not be this person’s exact words but you get the gist.

Why the sudden change? This person found God and became a Christian. There are strong beliefs amongst some Christians that divination is a grave sin and an abomination. Looking online, there were many biblical references to divination, magic and sorcery (I see those as different ends of the stick, just saying) but they are mentioned in the same passages.

Seeking answers from a spiritual or psychic approach doesn’t necessarily lead people away from God in my opinion… my personal psychic connection is helpful in guiding and giving clues to a new path or direction and I must do the work to get it happening. It can be a problem, if people rely whole heartedly on readings from psychics or mediums to guide their lives…. that is a dangerous problem because the person becomes reliant on the reader, doesn’t use their own intuition, can’t make their own decisions or is too lazy to, or wants a scape goat to blame if it all goes wrong and never learns to trust their own life choices.

On the other end of the scale, I was reading online that Esoteric Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism, recognise the potential of psychic abilities gained through spiritual practices, and meditation, developed with positive intent, wisdom and a conscious mature approach gathering guidance to improve the personal life and well being not to do harm. I talk with religious demonologists and a friend who is an exorcist who say that psychic abilities are a divine gift from God. She herself has abilities and spiritual discernment is the key to understanding where the information is coming from and how to use it in life and her line of work. It is all about how and why you use these abilities and the desired outcome, as we know humans have a conscious choice of good intentions to improve life or dark nefarious intentions to do harm to others. I have talked extensively about spiritual discernment in episodes I58 and 42 called Dark disguises: False angels and how they trick us!  which is one way demons get close to us when we let our guard down, and BAM they then have a hold on us. Psychic abilities and the spiritual world are hard to navigate as they aren’t scientifically tangible and provable and most people need that to say something is real, but I have seen and experiences too much to think it is all just a trick of the mind. That said, I still take it all with a grain of salt because the Devil is a deceiver and wants to trick and manipulate us all the time to weevil his way into our lives and cause utter chaos. 

So, is there new age deception that the now Christian person talks about? You bet… it is an industry and again it is all about using your spiritual discernment and understanding how money hungry deceitful people can smell vulnerability a mile off. If you want to know what I believe… well I use my psychic gifts to help humanity… specifically my talents are with understanding the dark beings and how they affect us, our homes, our pets, relationships etc. Not many people want to go there, but I do without fear.

So, the answer to the big question - Am I working for the Devil? Absolutely not. God has given me this level of psychic ability, spiritual discernment and a solid shove towards the darker beings to learn and do his good work keeping the entities away from people and making their homes safer to live in and teaching people how to keep the entities away themselves. I am not afraid to talk about it … and I am still here after many, many years of doing it, so the Devil can’t be too fussed. I don’t interact with his henchmen in any situation… I simply clean out homes and other places energetically removing the vibrations that attract entities and they leave… they are only present if the situation suits their needs.

Your discernment to see through the bs is a skill needed to weed of the fakes and connect with the those who are genuine because there are many.  Once you know the signs of a fake, you wont get caught again.
