#165 Can people become demons? A question I get asked a lot!

 In this episode, I have an unusual question to share with you, “Can people become demons?” This came from a distraught person experiencing demonic type oppression from a family member, and she truly believed the family member had crossed to the darkness and become a demon himself. This question's ambiguity got me thinking about many possible tangents that we are going to explore:

Hello and here we are at Perfectly Paranormal episode 165

My name is Anna Schmidt, and I'm here every week to share with you true paranormal encounters and information about devils, demons and dark energy beings that no one else talks about. Today, today, I have an odd little question to share with you from Jess “Can people become demons?” This came from a distraught person experiencing demonic type oppression from a family member and she truly believed the family member had crossed to the darkness and become a demon himself. 

This question opened up a lot of thoughts and possible tangents in my brain that we are going to explore:

First up,

·      Can humans be demons???  My brain instantly says ‘NO” and this is why… Demons are fallen angels, angels who have left God’s grace. Our sentient soul energy is part of mass consciousness outside the realm of demonic and angelic energy. People debate that angels are a species unto their own…. I wonder if they think of demons the same way?

·      Demons are energy and don’t have physical bodies, but they can inhabit people’s bodies through various means such as oppression, and transient and full possession.

·      Demons don’t have soul energy like people do. Our soul energy inhabits our bodies during conception and leaves our physical bodies upon death and returns to mass consciousness. Demons don’t die, they are eternal and if exorcised out of a living person either return to their point of origin or I think linger in the Earth realm looking for their next victim.

·      Our soul energy, life force or consciousness evolves as we grow spiritually. Demonic energy is set and predetermined by God as they were once angels. They hate us because we have souls.

·      People can behave in ways thought of as ‘demonic’ – negative, harsh, harmful traits associated with demonic behaviours bent on destruction but most are not demons. 

·      Perfect possession is the only way I can see that a human body and mind could reach near I00% demonic inhabitation and control. Perfect possession is when a demonic entity is invoked and invited by a human to inhabit a human body

·      Demons only inhabit a body if it suits their purpose for destruction on Earth. The human soul energy is suppressed so the demon has control to use the body for nefarious purposes

·       All humans have 2 sides – right / wrong, dark/ light, ego/ higherself – we are all capable of great good but also great evil. Conscious choice, morals, ethics, and values guide our choices.

·      Our souls are eternal and so are demons BUT we have free will, demons do not. They are allowed to do what they do by God’s grace to teach us, help us evolve through choices whether good or bad, making mistakes and learning from them.

·      Are some people pure evil… born that??? that is debatable – Hitler for example was he born good or possessed at birth or did he make conscious choices obsessed with hatred and destruction of innocent people because of idealism that he wanted in the world?

My suggestion for Jess was to talk with family, doctors and mental health practitioners to get the family member into psychological assessment and care to determine if the issue is mental or emotional or even medically influenced first.  Then having the person assessed by a religious team connected to an exorcist if the mental health care doesn’t fully solve the issue, offer support or ???. Demonic oppression/ possession can cross into both medical/mental health and demonic influence and all areas need to be covered for the most appropriate care for the afflicted person and to help the family care for the person.
